1st ESO ART. 1st Term Review

Let's see what we have done this first term.

1- We started learning the art class rules, they are going to help us working in class and having fun with our learning:

2- We learnt some vocabulary about Art Class, specially the name of the Art Supplies we are using every day:

3- The primary visual element in art is the dot. Artists use them as a compositional element and playing with the color sensations like Pointillism artist Seurat. We saw a video about his work and then we answer a few questions about it:

4- Now we are using the dot to represent a Landscape without lines. First we draw an sketch with pencil to follow and then we color with dots.

5- As we are learning Prehistory in History class, you can voluntary draw prehistoric caves paintings:

6- Dots can be used to express and represent shapes and volume of objets. With concentration and dispersion of dots we can express emotions and feelings:

TECHNICAL DRAWING CLASS

7- Basic elements in geometry are also the point, the line and the plane. We can define them in more than one way as we saw in class:
