2nd ESO ART. 1st Term Review

Let's see what we have done this first term.

1- We started learning the art class rules, they are going to help us working in class and having fun with our learning:

2- In Art class we learnt about Visual Perception. Gestalt psychology from Germany explains how perception helps us understand and organize the things we see. There are five principles:

3- After learning the Visual Perception principles we choose one to represent it:

4- Continuing with Visual Perception we studied about Optical Illusions that alter our perception of certain images. One artist that represent this optical effects was Victor Vasarely, and we made drawings inspired by his art.

TECHNICAL DRAWING CLASS

5- In Technical Drawing class we studied about Polygons and we started with the definition of Triangles:

6- Then we studied the clasification of Triangles. Depending on the lenght of their sides or the measure of their angles they have different name:

7- Triangles have important points and lines on their construction that helps us solve problems. This elemens also helps us to know and understand them. For example, we can find the gravity center of a triangle:

8- After learning Triangle basis we solved problems from the book:
