¿Que hacemos hoy? - What are we doing today? El día de los muertos en Arte. Allcourses Halloween art.
Los alumnos del Instituto Aldebarán de Alcobendas han participado en la festividad de todos los santos haciendo una recopilación de imágenes de distintas culturas. Como centro bilingüe hemos aprovechado esta fiesta para convertir nuestro espacio en un lugar tenebroso y terrorífico. Bandadas de murciélagos recorriendo la escalera, enormes arañas gigantes en las esquinas, gigantescas calaveras y esqueletos inspirados en diseños mejicanos o películas e historias terroríficas y grandes esqueletos móviles llenos de color festivo.
Aldebaran's High School studens have participated in the Halloween festivity making images from different cultures. As a bilingual center we have taken advantage of this party to turn our space into a scary and terrific place. Flocks of bats flying down the stairs, huge giant spiders in the corners, giant skulls and skeletons inspired by Mexican designs or terrifying movies and stories and large mobile skeletons full of festive color.
Talleres de los Recreos divertidos
Con los alumnos de los talleres hemos diseñado unas gigantescas arañas hechas con cintas de color negro y globos. Nos ha tomado nuestro tiempo colgarlas de la pared, pero al final lo hemos conseguido.
Fun Workshops in the breaks
With the students that participate in the workshops we have designed some giant spiders made with black ribbons and balloons. It has taken our time to hang them on the wall, but in the end we have succeeded.
Alumnos de 1º y 2º ESO
Los estudiantes más jóvenes han trabajado texturas visuales y diseños Mejicanos en sus calaveras. Los diseños finales han sido un conglomerado de referencias. Podemos ver calaveras Mejicanas pero también otros personajes e historias de miedo como por ejemplo el motorista fantasma o las clásicas calaveras con telarañas.
1st and 2nd ESO students
Younger students have worked visual textures and Mexican designs on their skulls. The final designs have been a conglomerate of references. We can see Mexican skulls but also other characters and scary stories such as the ghost rider or the classic skulls with webs.
3rd and 4th ESO students
The students of the higher courses in the optional subjects of Audiovisual Communication and Arts & Craft have also worked this year with the common idea of knowing more about the Mexican images and representations of "El día de los muertos", for them or "El día de los difuntos" in Spain. They have made impressive mobile skeletons and large posters with this theme. It is increasingly common to find a Catrina costume, but... -Do we know who is she? - Do we understand her symbology?

Han realizado impresionantes esqueletos móviles y grandes posters con esta temática. Cada vez es más común encontrarse con un disfraz de la Catrina, pero... -¿Sabemos quién es? - ¿Entendemos su simbología?
