Texture is one element of Art and Visual Communication. It give us visual and tactile information. Artists use texture to express sensations, feelings or memories. We can clasify textures in Natural and Artificial or Visual and Tactile. We have seen examples of that in the previous video related to art, but, - What about our enviroment? It is full of textures all around, lets have a look.
We are going to see and analyze this video and think about texture and how they use it in art.
Activity: Answer the next questions in your notebook, use one page on it with the title TEXTURES:
Exercise 1: Draw 12 squares in your notebook with setsquare and ruler, divide your notebook in equal parts and live a 1 cm margin. Then fill the squares with different visual textures, you can see similar examples below.
This examples have more than 12 textures, you only have to do 12 textures, you have to use pencil and color pencil. When you finish send a photograph to the teacher by email before the end of the task 24th of March.
